About Me

I am Nishikori Yui, a Vehicle Engineering student focused on intelligent driving and embedded systems. I explore how sensors, actuators, and algorithms cooperate to move machines safely and gracefully.

Engineering

My interests span robotics, artificial intelligence, and system design, especially where mechanical motion meets computational logic. I enjoy embedded control projects, from small autonomous vehicles to sensor fusion and real-time control. I have been a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society since 2024.

Music

Music is another way I make sense of systems and emotion. I have performed as a principal clarinetist in a school wind ensemble and played with rock musicians, while also spending time with drums, strings, and guitar. The precision of an ensemble and the freedom of a live band remain equally compelling.

Writing

Outside the lab, I write about retro games, technology, cinema, travel, and digital culture. I am interested in the point where nostalgia meets modern engineering: how circuits, code, industrial design, and preservation shape our relationship with machines.

Travel And Language

Time spent in Germany and study in Australia deepened my interest in how language and culture influence the way people understand technology and daily life. I work across Chinese, English, and German, and continue learning Japanese and other regional languages.

This publication contains individual essays, sustained series, and diary entries. It supports equations, diagrams, BibTeX citations, rich media, and protected drafts. Content and code are built, indexed, and checked locally, then emitted as a static site that requires no backend.
